As the cold time of the year approaches, you are not the only one that tries to keep warm. Around your home are many different types of wildlife, and the warmth in your home is going to be a temptation for them. While wildlife usually stays away from us humans, there are times when they encroach on our living space. Usually they will come looking for one, two or three of the essential things they need. Shelter, food and water. If you make sure that those things aren’t easily accessible in your home, you are much less likely to have a visitor.
You should always keep your garbage in a sealed container, and if you have food garbage that has a strong smell, it might be a good idea to double-bag that inside your garbage. Some animals have amazing noses, and will be attracted to your garbage from a long distance away. Keep an eye out for openings that animals could use to get into your home, and seal them up well.
