How so? Thermal imaging can detect even a low-grade fever, helping quick identification of persons that could be infected. This will help in hospitals to keep suspected cases separate from others and implementing protection protocols. The same is true for airports, where security will be able to find travelers that might need to be quarantined. In some countries, they have even gone so far as to install thermal imaging cameras on drones to track down people that should not be out in the public. Of course, the methods for enforcing restrictions on movement and even the laws for surveillance are different in different countries, so some of these scenarios won’t happen here in the states.
