An uneven driveway can be enough to drive you nuts. Getting into the garage can become more difficult if your driveway all of a sudden is several inches below the entrance to the garage. Sometimes shifting and settling can lead to extreme issues like that, and no one wants to spend the money and time to have their driveway poured all over again. Is there an option that is less intrusive and costly? Yes, there is. It is called mudjacking, and for a fraction of the cost of a new driveway, you can have your current one permanently fixed.
Mudjacking is accomplished by drilling several holes in the cement and then pumping in a mixture of water, dirt, and cement to level your current slab. It is quick and easy, and did we mention cheap?
This is not something that anyone can do however, since it is possible to damage pipes and wires under the slab if it is done incorrectly.
